Messiah Lutheran Church welcomes you and invites you to join us for worship and experience the sense of community we share. We hope that after a time, you will want to join our fellowship and we will welcome you as a full member. When you are ready to join, please contact the pastor or a church council member.
We receive new members at any time during the year. Our pastor and a church member will provide basic information about our church, our beliefs and about ways to become involved in the life of our congregation. A Membership Information Form is available at the back of the church. Please fill it out and give it to the pastor or council member.
Baptized persons who join are invited during worship to come forward and participate in a liturgy of welcome and affirmation of their baptism. Some people may be received by a letter of transfer from their former congregation.
Adults and young people who have never been baptized will meet with the pastor for more in depth instruction in the Christian faith and they will be baptized to be received into membership.
The pastor is also available to spend additional time with persons who may not have been active in the church for some time and want to get re-oriented about the church today.
